After receiving her first horse at 12 years old, she immersed herself in the equestrian world, competing in both eventing and dressage. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 before completing an equine internship that further strengthened her foundation in equine medicine and surgery. Following her internship, Dr. Weaver returned home to the Tampa Bay area and joined Odessa Equine Clinic in 2006, where she spent 15 years providing comprehensive veterinary care to horses throughout the region. In 2021, she founded Land O' Lakes Equine with the vision of delivering exceptional, personalized care to horse owners and their equine partners.
