Meet Our Team
Emily B Weaver DVM grew up in the Tampa Bay area, a lifelong horse lover, owning her first horse at 12 years old. She grew up riding and competing in eventing and dressage. She went on to attend the University of Florida for Veterinary School, graduating in 2005.
After graduation she completed an equine internship and then settled back home in Tampa, joining the Odessa Equine Clinic in 2006. Dr Weaver practiced for 15 years with Odessa Equine before starting up her own practice Land O' Lakes Equine.
When not being a horse vet, Dr Weaver enjoys riding her own horses, reading a good book and spending time with her husband and two children.

Hannah Orfeo, EVT
Our hardworking veterinary technician and office assistant, Hannah is from the Tampa area and will often be the friendly voice you hear when you call our practice. When she’s not hard at work she enjoys spending time with her husband, her pup, and riding her horses Napoleon and Katina.
